Commonly known as the "Lady Slipper" Orchid, Paphiopedilum boast blooms that are among the longest lasting of all orchids. These unique pouch like flowers come in an astonishing range of colors, patterns, spots, and shapes. An added attraction is their foliage, which can be brightly patterned as well giving them year round appeal. Most Paphiopedilum are shade loving plants, which makes them some of the easiest orchids to grow in the home. And since they offer a unique look, more and more people are choosing Paphiopedilum to add interest to their home decor.
Paphiopedilum prefer moderate light, about 70% to 80% shade, and no direct sun.
